“Excellent service, no pressure to buy just good helpful advice. Delivery was easy and stress free. The quality of the sofa is excellent. I will definitely be back for my next furniture purchase and the next and the next. Altogether a pleasant experience from start to finish.”

“Pondsford's can be a bit daunting for us folk that 'have to look after the pennies', but we found them to be very approachable and friendly when we went to look at bedroom furniture. Alan was charming and professional, as were the fitters, they and the 10 months interest free made our purchase much easier. Our experience led us to go back and purchase a carpet - another easy transaction. Many thanks we will be back.”

“I have total confidence in Ponsford's. The sideboard I ordered is of the highest quality, and I've been supplied with a spare oil to maintain it. My only negative was the length of time it took to receive the item. I ordered it on 13th March and it was delivered on 26th June. The estimated delivery was 12 weeks, but it actually took 16. Although good quality furniture is always worth waiting for, it would have been nice if Ponsford's informed me of the delay, as I had to chase up delivery. that's said I would recommend Ponsford's and will always visit whenever I have any furnishing requirements.”

“Upon first entering the shop I received excellent customer service from all members of staff. Throughout my furniture, curtain and carpet selection process I received friendly, knowledgeable, helpful advice and assistance and all those I dealt with went the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction, not only from the Sales Staff but also the sewing room staff, carpet fitters and delivery drivers. There are only two words that describe my whole experience, exceptional and outstanding and would certainly recommend Ponsfords to anyone wanting to purchase anything from curtain tie backs to a three piece suite, Ponsfords epitomise good old fashioned customer serivce, oh and the coffee is good too!! Thank you all for making some difficult decisions very easy. Best wishes to you all, Lyn and Ian Slater”

“Disappointed that I had no phone call to say that my mattress had arrived in store, was promised 4 to 6 week delivery I to chase after 10week , when I asked the clerk on the service desk how long it had been in store she said she was new and didn't know how to obtain the info. As I had purchased other products I arranged for all the goods to be delivered at the same time . The carpet fitters and delivery men are superb at their work but I feel they are let down by the office as they are the customer faced person they should have more support from the store staff.”

“At Easter myself and my daughter picked a table from a new range which was very different as it was made from parts of reclaimed SHIPS , we priced and ordered the table and was promised delivery before the end of June as we had a party organised for early July .the table was delivered early June in plenty of time , everything from price to service / delivery and the professional delivery and installation service was perfect . THANKS to pons fords staff .”

“We cannot rate the product yet because we are still waiting for delivery 11 weeks after order date,despite being assured a 10 week maximum delivery. We are border line for cancelling the sofa and starting our search over again !”

“very impressed - spacious showroom to look around - and more importantly no hassle - service was impeccable - i was even treated to a cup of coffee whilst trying to make my final decision. i had previously attended christopher pratts and the salesman was like a leech and therefore completely put me off. your staff were curteous, extremely helpful even to the extent of bringing down my footstool i had put on one side to ensure i was happy with it at the side of my chosen suite. 10/10”

“I visited Pondsfords for the time and found just what I wanted! The range of products was fantastic and the furniture was beautiful on all levels of the store, it was an enjoyable time overall! I ordered a chair and footstool but needed them delivering to a different address than I am currently at through purchasing a new property, this was no problem at all. The delivery time was quite a wait but this was explained to me because of the product being made to order. Would certainly visit again and will be recommending to friends. Laura”

“Sales staff very knowledgeable. Product first class. The only draw back I had was when I telephoned to ask when delivery would be the assistant was very snappy and unhelpful, unfortunately I didn't get her name. Shame on her. This is why I gave good instead of very good”

“Overall a very pleasant experience,the salesman was very attentive but not pushy thus giving us time to reflect on intended purchase. The coffee shop is a must,we couldn't decide which fabric to choose but over a cup of coffee and a cake our choice was made. We have to wait 12 weeks for delivery but are confident that we will be happy with our chair.”

“Easy to deal with, efficent on the telephone, excellent delivery guys- didnt get distressed over me being on the 2nd floor ! My only minor problem was because one of my sofas was delivered with the wrong legs - a manufacturer's fault, not Ponsford, and trying to find out what was going on to get replacements wasnt easy as I was communicating by email, so didnt know what was happening until they arrived. In fairness once they had arrived they wanted to fix the replacements immediately so you cant fault customer service !”
