“My recent business with Ponsfords has been an absolute delight from beginning to end. All the sales staff have been helpful and courteous, the goods were delivered speedily by Kinetics on the exact date promised and within the time window. The goods were in excellent condition, packed and protected beautifully. I cannot praise Ponsfords highly enough. I would like to add an extra star for "brilliant." Margt.B.”

“We had 6 Dining chairs & an ornate Opera chair delivered on Good Friday by your warehouse team. As we were going out in the afternoon I had to ring & speak to Dan, who was very helpful & said they would make it before 12, but also call 30 mins before they were due to arrive. This all happened according to plan & at 10.30 am two lovely delivery men called Glynn & Jim arrived with our goods. All the chairs were carefully wrapped & delivered with tender loving care, with an extremely pleasant manner!! What a great experience it was from beginning to end!! Many thanks all three of you!”

“Having bought furniture from Ponsfords since 1992 . I can't fault their service , prices and range of choice! I have always shopped around for chairs etc but come back to Ponsfords. for quality ,choice , customer care and service. I've just bought a Stressless chair. It's super. I will always return when I need to replace furniture.”

“We were considering replacing our Duresta sofas with a Stressless suite and called in to Ponsford "just looking". 2.5 hours later we walked out having paid a deposit. Mary was our sales person and she gave us full attention, allowed us to take our time and reach a conclusion which, now it's been delivered (earlier than expected) we are delighted she helped us make the right choice for us. I did a price check the day after ordering and found I could have bought the same items significantly cheaper elsewhere and to Ponsford's credit, they matched the price. Delivery took place smoothly and efficiently by two delivery guys who took great care. Overall; a very positive experience which gives us the confidence to keep going back to Ponsford. Just do your home work before you order - they will do a deal if they can.”

“Fantastic service from the moment I visited the store,excellent initial advice prior to purchase. All staff polite and informative, the delivery guys took their shoes off without being asked and locked my gate behind them! Great customer service which is like a breath of fresh air!!”

“Buying our carpet from Ponsfords, not our first and probably not our last purchase, was as always a pleasurable experience. Ponsford's staff are always so friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Buying expensive items like carpets and furniture is not something anyone does frequently, so when you do you need to know it's going to be handled professionally and with care. With Ponsfords you can take that for granted!”

“I had a modest budget of £1500 to buy a sofa. After spending a day looking at the (frankly cheap/tacky/uncomfortable) competition - I thought I would pop into Ponsfords. For the same price as some of the most horrible pieces of furniture that I ever seen - I bought a stylish and very cosy sofa from Ponsfords. Yes I am very satisfied with this piece and would recommend you to anyone. Can I say that whenever I do recommend you. the feeling is that you are 'too expensive' or 'out of our price range'. This just is not true, I have bought from your store many times and never felt that there is nothing within my price range. Perhaps this is something that you could explore with your marketing dept. The prices asked for at DFS/Sofaworld etc are similar to certain items in your range, but no were near as good quality or styling. I also find the staff and shop floor environment very pleasant too.......”

“Very good service from all members of staff who are polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble to help you find the furniture you want. The finance is quick and easy to set up and the 0 percent for 10 months is very useful. May I also say that the coffee shop is a great place for a tasty snack.”

“The two delivery men who came to my house this morning were fantastic. They made sure that my furniture was not scratched in anyway by covering the furniture and laying sheets down. It was an excellent job that the man did in fixing the wardrobe rail. Nothing was too much trouble for them as they helped with moving around some of my furniture. I can’t praise them enough, and want to say a BIG THANK YOU. I have always had good customer service from Ponsford and I’m sure I will be purchasing from you again.”

“A first time shopper at Ponsford and I have to say the service from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. The team in store were most helpful, the delivery guys were friendly and very punctual arriving at the time specified of the pre-delivery telephone call. I would definitely recommend a visit to store - it is well worth it!”

“Order placed over the phone, and price given within 10 minutes. Though delivery date from manufacture was delayed I was kept up to date with developments by e-mail and once unit was delivered to store on a Monday arrangements were made for immediate delivery on Tuesday. Excellent service and very friendly and helpful staff.”
