“Many thanks indeed to Graeme and Will who did a first class professional job fitting a carpet in a large living room and hall. They worked rapidly to help move furniture before and after the fitting, for which we were most grateful. They left everything very clean and tidy too. Graeme and Will were most considerate whilst working around us, and we very much appreciated their sense of humour and mutual banter which never intruded into the work in hand. They and Scott back at base were great ambassadors for an excellent family firm. From two extremely satisfied customers. 😁👍”

“The whole process from selection of appropriate furniture, through purchase, payment and delivery went smoothly. The shop was busy on the first day we went but once we found a salesperson, we were given useful and clear explanations of the products on offer to help us make a choice; the whole process of purchase was explained clearly without any undue pressure to buy. Our delivery men, Steve and Rob, were careful to avoid damage and coped well with the tight fit of the larger items through our doorway. They made sure we were happy with the product and its placement in the room before they left. Positive experience!”

“Graeme & Connor fitted out staircase and landing carpet today. As per usual a first class service from Sheffields best. We’ve had Graeme in the past at previous properties and his standard of work is spot on. Connor is lucky to be learning from him.”

“Mrs Booth. Paul and Dave fitted my sitting room carpet today. Paul had previously fitted Hall,stairs and landing last year. As on previous visit they were punctual, professional and on both occasions the result was of a very high standard. They had to contend with some heavy furniture whilst fitting the carpet. I would thoroughly recommend the carpet team from purchasing to fitting.”

“12 months ago, I purchased a 3 piece suite from Ponsfords. I have always shopped for furniture here as I can usually rely on good quality furnishings. However, on this occasion the 3 piece suite was of an inferior quality. The foam , although not faulty, was of a poor quality and within weeks the cushions were sagging and looked as if it was 10 years old rather than new. I complained to Ponsford's and they contacted the manufacturers and they replaced the foam with what was supposed to be superior quality foam. Within weeks the cushions had deteriorated again and were looking old and saggy. Again I spoke to Ponsfords who gave me the name of an independent upholsterer, who I contacted and had the foam replaced with a superior quality foam at the cost of £348.00, which I am extremely satisfied with. I spoke to Ponsfords after this and asked if they would contribute towards the replacement cost. I was told that as the foam was not faulty they would not give any re-imbursement. I am unhappy that Ponsford's are now selling furnishings of such inferior quality and I shall not be shopping with them again.”

“Mrs. Spreckley. We have recently had our hall and lounge carpets fitted by Paul,Dave and Will and we are delighted with the work they have done. A great team , very polite, conscientious and a pleasure to have in your home. We would recommend Ponsford as a company as all staff have been a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble.”

“Excellent professional service from sales to warehouse followed through by the on time delivery team Rob and Tom. Who took every care to make sure our new settee and chairs were installed where we wanted them and in perfect condition. We had the added complication of having to have a glass company to remove a window to get the furniture in so coordination and cooperation was required to make the delivery go smoothly this was no problem from Pondsford and the delivery team. First class service start to finish.”
