Lovely shop once you're in you don't want to come out there's so much to see,different styles of furniture,it's hard not to buy anything,and there's a lovely cafe that has anything from a coffee to assorted food

Ponsford provided an excellent service - very efficient and courteous. Price also compared favourably with other less helpful competitors. Would highly recommend and definitely use again.

The staff are unfailingly helpful. Something about it feels like service of a bygone era. A really comprehensive selection of furniture - and competitive prices. The tall chaps in Seven Oaks are amazingly helpful for all things audio. I have stopped going anywhere else, Ponsford's just can't be bettered for selection, prices and service.

Good old fashioned customer service which is rare nowadays. Would not hesitate in purchasing anything from Pondsfords.

Service was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Time was taken to help us choose our furniture. Lovely to be given tokens so we could go to cafe and have a drink whilst we made our decision. Ponsforda have never let us down.

I would have given 5 stars but the lack of atmosphere, music of some kind in the background as you go around such a large store would make me linger longer. The selection of furniture and accessories is excellent all under one roof , good parking, coffee shop, toilets and non pressurised sales people make this my no. 1 store if only the silence was rectified.

Ordered a bedside cabinet last September and are still waiting! Tried to follow it up early December. Was told on three occasions that someone would phone me back and it never happened. Took till after Christmas to speak to the manager after getting nowhere with shop staff. Manager looked into it and it turns out there was a mix up with the order initially. Personally I feel it was never ordered in the first place. While I can accept mix ups I was very disappointed with the customer service I received in December.

Your staff who recently delivered and constructed my new Nolte wardrobes on site were, as usual, so efficient, considerate, tidy, obliging and helpful that the whole experience experience served to add further to my confidence in purchasing quality products and receiving an excellent level of service from Ponsfords. We are the proud owners of a new leather three piece suite which we took delivery of this morning. We are delighted with every aspect of Ponsfords from the sales man Damian to the two deliverymen who were VERY impressive with their service, they were very professional and filled you with every confidence at the way they got our suite into our house, very professional indeed and to the lady on reception who is very polite too during our phone calls . We can't praise this family shop enough and we will be going there to buy our carpets and curtains too in the near future. As regards to our delivery, we were told it would be 6 weeks but we actually received it in 5 weeks which was great and also received a phone call to ask which day would be good for us to take delivery and then we also received a phone call the day before our delivery date to give us a two hour time slot for the delivery, so VERY impressed indeed. Thank you very much to EVERYONE at Ponsfords EXCELLENT !

Extremely good and efficient service. Only drawback can be length of time between sale and delivery for goods which are not ready to go off the shop floor or from the warehouse. So we have actually paid more for furniture from elsewhere because we could have it sooner.

I was given an estimate of how long I would have to wait for my carpet to be fitted at the time of ordering which was far exceeded. I wasn't sure what to do about plywood because the floorboards were very uneven but I'd been told that it caused creaking. A representative called to look and suggested I had the carpet fitted and if I didn't like it I could pay for it to be taken up again for plywood to go down. I wasn't happy about the inconvenience and suspected the extra work wasn't welcome. I was told that if Ponsfords put down plywood it would be done properly and there would be no creaking and on this basis I went ahead. The floor is now creaking repeatedly on the main walkway and is very annoying. I haven't contacted Ponsfords because of the inconvenience of getting the carpet up but I am very disappointed.

From the initial visit to discuss carpet options, to the fitting the staff have been helpful and supportive and the whole process was made easy because of this.
