“Buying our carpet from Ponsfords, not our first and probably not our last purchase, was as always a pleasurable experience. Ponsford's staff are always so friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Buying expensive items like carpets and furniture is not something anyone does frequently, so when you do you need to know it's going to be handled professionally and with care. With Ponsfords you can take that for granted!”

“I had a modest budget of £1500 to buy a sofa. After spending a day looking at the (frankly cheap/tacky/uncomfortable) competition - I thought I would pop into Ponsfords. For the same price as some of the most horrible pieces of furniture that I ever seen - I bought a stylish and very cosy sofa from Ponsfords. Yes I am very satisfied with this piece and would recommend you to anyone. Can I say that whenever I do recommend you. the feeling is that you are 'too expensive' or 'out of our price range'. This just is not true, I have bought from your store many times and never felt that there is nothing within my price range. Perhaps this is something that you could explore with your marketing dept. The prices asked for at DFS/Sofaworld etc are similar to certain items in your range, but no were near as good quality or styling. I also find the staff and shop floor environment very pleasant too.......”

“Very good service from all members of staff who are polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble to help you find the furniture you want. The finance is quick and easy to set up and the 0 percent for 10 months is very useful. May I also say that the coffee shop is a great place for a tasty snack.”

“The two delivery men who came to my house this morning were fantastic. They made sure that my furniture was not scratched in anyway by covering the furniture and laying sheets down. It was an excellent job that the man did in fixing the wardrobe rail. Nothing was too much trouble for them as they helped with moving around some of my furniture. I can’t praise them enough, and want to say a BIG THANK YOU. I have always had good customer service from Ponsford and I’m sure I will be purchasing from you again.”

“A first time shopper at Ponsford and I have to say the service from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. The team in store were most helpful, the delivery guys were friendly and very punctual arriving at the time specified of the pre-delivery telephone call. I would definitely recommend a visit to store - it is well worth it!”

“Order placed over the phone, and price given within 10 minutes. Though delivery date from manufacture was delayed I was kept up to date with developments by e-mail and once unit was delivered to store on a Monday arrangements were made for immediate delivery on Tuesday. Excellent service and very friendly and helpful staff.”

“We are totally delighted with our first experience of carpet fitting by Ponsfords. We've bought furniture in the past but never thought of going there for carpets. However, as well as a great range to choose from and expert advice - the fitting was carried out carefully and thoroughly and to a timescale to fit in with our decorating. And the outcome looks just perfect. We are delighted. Thank you Ponsfords.”

“After years of driving past the shop and wondering what it was really like we decided to go inside and see for ourselves. We weren't disappointed! Wow, what a choice! Our unusual circumstances gave us the chance to refurnish our home completely and what a great place to buy lovely quality furniture. We were greeted and helped by David who took us round the store to each department and advised us on specific pieces. Our children were entertained in the cinema room which they loved and it gave us the chance to make our choices,in peace! Our furniture is on order as our house is rebuilt so we are looking forward to the end of September when it should all come together in our beautiful home. We would personally like to pass on our heartfelt thanks to David Cartwright on helping us to buy such quality furniture within our budget. Mr & Mrs Crowther”

“Ordered furniture, curtains and carpet from Ponsford. Every department really helpful. The carpet has been fitted today which looks lovely. The two fitters, Richard and Graham were so helpful and efficient and we would like to say a big "Thankyou" to them. A brilliant store to deal with all round! Happy customer.”

“We have bought furniture from Ponsford and unfortunately we had problem with the leather and quality of the furniture, but from the first call to explain about our problems we have been taken care off 100%, the service, help and choices given to us in order to get us happy has just been out of this world. Thank you very much we will be back and make sure that who ever is looking for new furniture do not miss out visiting Ponsford.”

“Pondsford's can be a bit daunting for us folk that 'have to look after the pennies', but we found them to be very approachable and friendly when we went to look at bedroom furniture. Alan was charming and professional, as were the fitters, they and the 10 months interest free made our purchase much easier. Our experience led us to go back and purchase a carpet - another easy transaction. Many thanks we will be back.”
