“Sales staff were very helpful and informative without being intrusive. Our sofa and chair were ready for delivery well within the timescale we were given. Delivery was easy to arrange and arrived on time. Delivery staff were efficient and careful. Very pleased with our purchase. Would definitely go to Ponsford first, next time we are looking for furniture.”

“To back up the quality & range of excellent furniture, Ponsford's staff are attentive but not pushy in providing service, advice and information to help you make the right choices. Clearly prices reflect that the fact that Ponsford's products are a cut above but having shopped there for the past 20 years for traditional and also contemporary styles, we're happy that we get value for money.”

“Our experience of buying a substantial amount of new furniture from Ponsford recently has been a pleasure from start to finish. Competitive prices, paperwork and admin contact excellent, delivery arrangements very convenient and service by the fitters and delivery were totally satisfactory. Staff entering our home were very careful of both the new arrivals and also avoided bringing in any dust/dirt with them or knocking existing items along the route from room to room. All wrapping taken away and very pleasant staff. We are both delighted and have made further orders! What more can I say? 5/5”

“When I bought my garden furniture I explained i needed it for my sons birthday and was told that it would be delivered in time, after chasing a delivery date we were told that it was in the warehouse but couldn't be delivered so we had to collect it ourselves. The lazy Susan was broken and the table was brown instead of black. I was asked several times if the table was brown by shop staff and warehouse staff and even had to send photos to prove it was brown, I cant understand why they could not take my word for it. I had to chase when the delivery would be made and when the correct table came into the warehouse we were asked to pick it up! I explained that I had paid for delivery and had only picked it up ourselves the first time because it would have been to late for my sons birthday. I have finally got the correct table after months of waiting.The umbrella pole came with a dint in it but we had that much trouble with the table I didn't bother to complain. I'm happy with the dinning set now but think the umbrella is of poor quality. The only plus side were the delivery men and the warehouse staff who were very helpful. Overall I thought I would have received better service from Ponsford.”

“Bought a table and 4 Calligaris chairs. One of the chairs was damaged, and the others (white) were not wrapped and had dirty marks on the corners. We managed to clean the marked ones and the damaged one was replaced within a couple of weeks.”

“Ponfords is the only shop that we will go to for our furniture, even if it means a 60 mile round trip! Excellent staff in a departments ( sales, reception, warehouse, delivery and coffee shop). Especially Richard Marshall in sales. Would not dream of going anywhere else.”

“We recently purchased a 3 piece suite from Ponsfords. The sales service was very good we were offered help but my husband & I were also left to discuss things privately before coming to our final decision. The two delivery guys were excellent, they had a few problems getting the furniture into our lounge, but suceeded in the end and throughout the process they were cheerful and courteous. A very good experience all round. Thanks”

“The sales experience was very good. There were a number different bed products available for examination and the sales advisor was able to advise us on choosing the best one to suit our needs. She was friendly and professional but not too pushy which is very important. The bed was delivered in the timescale agreed and the delivery staff were excellent.”

“As always the purchase and delivery of our furniture from PONSFORD'S was pleasurable and easy with the professional help of Christopher. We are especially appreciative of the help from Chris and the management for arranging the quick delivery of the furniture because of the ill health of my husband, This was arranged without our requesting this and now means it can be enjoyed for a while by my husband. “An exceptional store, staff helpful, very pleasant and efficient. delivery on time with the same pleasant and efficient attitude. “The sales team were excellent, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a foot adjustment to my sofa so that my standard lamp would fit underneath. This was done in the factory prior to shipping. My sofa arrived earlier than expected too which was great news. They contacted us a couple of weeks afterwards to check if everything was ok and that we were happy with our purchase. We love it. V & J, Sheffield, S21”
