“I have shopped at Ponsfords for many, many years & would recommend them to very one. I would never think of going anywhere else! The staff are wonderful, most helpful & know about their products. They make you feel you matter & show a great deal of interest in what ever you are buying. Apart from making suggestions they ask you if you have any ideas about your prospective purchase as well as enquiring if you have any particular colour scheme in mind.. I have just had some new carpets & cushions for some Ercol chairs. Special thanks to Helen, Richard in carpet sales , Glyn & his team in the fitting department for all the time & effort they made in doing a superb job. The visits to the shop were most enjoyable. It was nice going to the cafe for a welcome cup of coffee & some excellent food served by friendly ladies Long may you prosper & continue to provide your excellent service. Thank you.to you all. Norma Smith”

“The quality of service is excellent. Personal service without being overbearing. The quality of product is always without question. My only criticism is a £25 delivery charge. This was not a charge to my chosen date and time but I paid £25 to be part of a delivery elsewhere. However, we do love the store.”

“Where do you start ! From the moment you park up you become excited to see your products knowing they are not the "normal" shops. So clean and sparkling everywhere beautiful BUT very, very cold it stops you stand to look long enough you move on tho the next because too cold. Have in said that we purchase a wonderful dinning table (it was warm there) and chairs. We also would have purchase matching cabinets, NOT ! you it is the manufacture they do not make them and we know that because your WONDERFUL and I MEAN WONDERFUL staff tried to find out to help myself and my hubby xx Your staff are amazing everyone we spoken to they are so lovely with us and so knowable and if they did not know because it was not their department they would go and find a person who was xx Actually when I thing about it I am not happy with your staff they took our money off us ach !!! ha ha ha xxx They was lovely also xx We nattered with your staff and they tell us they have worked for many years and that was lots of your staff and they all told us they was happy. To me it shows what a lovely company you are and I tell all my friends who also like different items and as you know it is the best advertisement xx Please forgive me now as this has taken so long to put the words together as I have been seriously ill and struggle to put words together so that must show how much I love you and your staff xx Lots of love xx”

“Recently purchased two sofas and fitted carpet. Assistants very helpful and patient whilst we were choosing. Delivery time was very reasonable, around 4/5 weeks. Carpet fitters happily took up and removed our old carpet and the sofa delivery men very obliging placing the sofas where they were required, adding all the seat and back cushions and removing all packaging. All we had to do was sit down and admire our 'new look' lounge! Very pleased with our 'Ponsford' experience - Thankyou! Wouldn't hesitate to use you again. Jean and Nigel Reeves”

“I had been into the shop several times looking for a brown rug. Eventually, I thought a persian, Pakistan style rug would look better. Nigel your assistant cam to help me . He took four rugs from the rack. Nothing was too much trouble . He was very quietly mannered and really helped me choose the right rug. When I got home and laid it on the floor, I was very pleased and phoned the department to say how pleased I was and to thank Nigel for his help. taully I thought”

“It was a very pleasurable experience dealing with Ponsfords,We purchased a beautiful fitted bedroom suite having been advised by Mr Alan Ponsford. He was so helpful and made us feel that we were friends rather than customers. When the Furniture was fitted it was done with great efficiency and care. Well done Ponsfords.”
